Coach's Comments |
I can't speak highly enough of Alex. He is a wonderful player but even better person. He is extremely quick with a lightning fast first step and brilliant ball control. His low center of gravity allows him to twist and turn making defenders miss. He doesn't need to be a big player as his size isn't affected due to his wonderful work rate and ability to get on the ball, be strong, and play through tacklers. |
Defensive Awareness - As we chatted about, just cleaning up those defensive areas in your game will help you elevate even more in the next level. Reading the situation and bating the other team into playing the pass you can pick off. |
Finding a solution - When teams key in on you, can you find a way to unlock the game in which it isn't just quickness and craftiness on the ball. You may have to go deeper to find it but can you then play those dangerous penetrating passes that cut open other teams. |
Left foot - Work on that left foot. I think you have one and the ability to use it but get more confident and comfortable with it so now you are more unpredictable to opposing teams. They will try to push you to your left, so punish them for that! |
